Ahh A question Serenity constantly asks herself.
I shall explain...

well not really, there may be some people who are ACTUALLY reading my fan fic (she's introduced in chapter 2..which hasn't been finished yet..shhh), and don't know about Serenity's 'unique-ness' already and I don't want to ruin it for them so all I will say is:

"She doesn’t understand simple things like human compassion, it confuses her and she believes that she lacks it.

AND it is because of what she is and her confusion about simple human emotions that drives her to believe that she’s dead inside."
